Online Course Library

The goal of FleetSMART’s™ driver training curriculum is to continuously reinforce key driver safety concepts, increase driver awareness of the risks associated with driving on the job, and to change unsafe behavior. FleetSMART™ will automatically assign two courses per quarter to each of your drivers. Since FleetSMART™ courses are designed to meet the needs of the four following driver types, your drivers will be assigned courses that are relevant to the types of vehicles they operate.

Courses are 20-30 minutes in length and can be accessed anytime and anywhere from a computer with an internet connection.

Automobiles & Light Trucks
All general automobiles and light trucks, including pickups, SUVs, and smaller delivery trucks.

Passenger Vans
Vans that carry between 10 and 15 passengers.

Large Vehicles
Large commercial trucks weighing over 26,000 lbs.

Fire engines, ambulances, and other emergency response vehicles.

Driver Curriculum
The following curriculum is available in four versions tailored to meet the varied needs of drivers of automobiles, trucks, emergency vehicles, and passenger vans. Also, it is designed to deliver two driving-specific courses per quarter in a two-year cycle, totaling 16 courses.

  • The Importance of Seat Belt Use
  • Accidents and Emergencies
  • Post-Incident Procedures

In addition, the driver curriculum includes specialized courses for drivers of passenger vans, large trucks, and emergency vehicles including:

Supervisor Curriculum
The supervisor curriculum is designed to provide supervisors with the training necessary to maintain a staff of safe and capable drivers.

Policy and Procedure Templates & Compliance Tasks

Written policies and procedures emphasize an organization’s commitment to preventing employee injuries and provide clear guidelines for employees. FleetSMART™ policy and procedure templates will help you implement this key element of a Fleet Safety Program.
